Stanislav, Thank you, Stanislav. So the trip wasn't in vain. I went hoping to finish filming the remaining fragments for the video... and for the photo... but unfortunately... there were people here during the day... preparing the location for the video shoot. It's good that at dawn they were still dreaming sweet dreams in the village of Khuzhir. A little work.))

Alexander Zeonoff, Those who jump out of bed very early have a good chance of creating a masterpiece ))) Getting to Olkhon, and indeed to Baikal in general, is my little dream. I envy you completely And was the video filmed at work?

Stanislav, If you have a dream...it will definitely come true. Regarding the video...I have an idea to make a film about Baikal...in all seasons...I'm slowly collecting material.
Beautiful) I just wish they'd remove the green border on the left side of the rocks.
Nessie Skuch, There's something like that... I didn't remove it because it wasn't very noticeable. Decided to leave it. The thing is, when you edit the HA... you lose sharpness... that's why I chose the former. Besides, I've become lazy, though.
You could, in my opinion, select this area and simply reduce the green saturation; the sharpness wouldn't be affected.
Nessie Skuch, Thanks for the advice... I use slightly different methods when I deem it necessary, but they take time to process. I already explained that I didn't correct the CA during processing in the RAW converter. There are no problems, just perception issues. I figured it would work. When I return to this shot after some time, and that will probably be in a year or more, I'll take into account all the nuances that viewers pointed out, as well as those I don't like. For now, it's as it is in the first version.
Thank you, Alexander Zeonoff, so this is a framing option. A mirage is a natural phenomenon.
At dawn, such phenomena often occur when the sun rises from behind the mountains. It can also appear as a beam. For example... I took a photo last year on the Iya River. http://www.photoforum.ru/f/photo/000/766/766087_78.jpg
I just looked at my own... it turns out this "mirage" is in all the shots before sunrise. I think that's how it works. The sun was reflecting off the ice on the other side of Olkhon Island...and the reflection was illuminating a cloud. Just so you don't get confused...here's a shot taken a little earlier. Good afternoon I was at Ogoy's 10 days ago, but this "anchor" was nowhere to be seen. When was it filmed, and what is it? An "artifact" from the filmmakers?

Aleksandr Atoyan, Good afternoon. They started installing the anchor on March 17th... I was there in the evening, it was already installed... and on the morning of March 18th, I took photos... while there were no people there. The video was filmed on the 18th and is scheduled to continue on the 19th. I caught the beginning, then left the island.

I agree...this place always has excellent expression at dawn.

Alexander Zeonoff, you need to log out to provide the correct link... (As far as I remember, that was about three years ago, the last time I visited)
